Gentlemen, Start Your Engines...The Openly Antisemitic Canada Post...The End of Gay Pride Parades...

Writer: Joannie TanskyJoannie Tansky

While it is not yet official, it appears the election will be called this Sunday with election day either Monday April 28 or Monday May 5. As the saying goes, gentlemen, start your engines.

Regarding the current polls which have the Carney and Poilievre in a dead heat, stop looking. It doesn't help and in the end, as we all know, it is G-d who runs the world. We are personally pushing as hard as we can for both Neil Oberman and Pierre Poilievre.

How anyone can vote for the liberal party, with many of the same woke, tree-huggers who have put us into astronomical debt still in place is beyond our comprehension. At the very least, after ten years it is time to give another party a chance to govern.

For example, we know that there are still people who will vote for Anthony Housefather. They do so out of habit, certainly not because he helped the Jewish community.

You want more commissions on antisemitism that conclude with recommendations on what should be done, but are never acted upon? Anthony is your guy. Squeals like a clapping seal but gets nothing done.

Who would want more of that? Who wants more climate change bs? Who wants more save-the-whales-trees and turtles?

As for dealing with Trump, Carney is an arrogant do-you-know-who-I-am guy. One major insult and our bet is that he explodes as he did with those journalists when he didn't like their questions.

Poilievre will not blink. And that's what we need. Let Trump talk and talk. Canada is not for sale and will not join the USA. Trump can have the biggest temper tantrum but Pierre will not blink.

And one more thing. Watch for this one: the instant Trump gets a look at Carney's wife, his remarks will send Carney off the charts. Remember you read that here first.

Mark Carney and Evan Solomon...best buds.
Mark Carney and Evan Solomon...best buds.

One of the 'stars' running for Mark Carney is none other than Evan Solomon. You may recall he was a journalist on CTV for a few years and before that on the CBC. He left to work in New York for the Eurasia group.

Interestingly, Solomon is friends with Carney and Carney's wife, both wives are friends etc, etc.

Now for the juicy stuff:

Evan Solomon brokered art deals for Mark Carney when Solomon was working at the CBC. He formed a private business partnership in 2013 to broker Canadian art. Solomon brokered the sale of paintings belonging to art collector Bruce Bailey to BlackBerry founder Jim Balsillie and former Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney. He was fired for that.

Now read this line: A spokesperson for the Bank of England (which Carney was governor of at the time) issued a statement on behalf of Carney saying the governor "has no enduring professional relationship with" Solomon and that he "never comments on matters relating to his personal life."

And now? Evan Solomon is running for Mark Carney in the next election. There is no way Mark Carney was not friends with Evan Solomon while he was governor of the Bank of England, before that and after that.

You want someone in government who does something? Read this next piece. Neil Oberman who is running against Housefather in the Mount Royal riding, is going after Canada Post for being antisemitic.

His letter was addressed to The Honorable Ali Ehsassi Minister of Government Transformation, Public Services and Procurement:

It has come to our notice that our client, and others, have experienced troubling issues

where letters and packages destined for Israel have been inexplicably rejected and

returned to sender.

We understand that there are unions associated with Canada Post Corporation that may

be influencing its operations by injecting their political viewpoints into the essential

services they provide.

When our client visited their local postal outlet seeking clarification on this matter, they

were met with an alarming response: they were told outright that deliveries could not be

made to Israel because of the war in Gaza.

This raises critical questions about your operational oversight - do you run a postal service? Are you truly in control of your employees' or contracting parties conduct? What measures will you implement in response to this unacceptable situation?

Where is our useless MP Anthony Housefather? Does he even know this is happening? And if he does, will he ask for yet another commission that does nothing?

Canada now has the distinct reputation of being one of the biggest antisemitic countries in the world with zero accountability or consequences for any of those perpetrtaing these acts.

First they come for the Jews, then they come for everybody else. Don't say you weren't warned.

So what's with all the Tesla dealership attacks? Weren't Tesla and with it, Elon Musk once the darlings of the left? Yes there were. Alas, times have changed and Musk did a 180.

Not long ago, they were helped to become viable by a $465 million federal loan by the Obama administration, which led to the company popularizing electric vehicles and proved, despite their early reputation, that they didn’t have to be small, stodgy, underpowered and limited in range.

Musk has now allied himself with the right. He bought Twitter, renamed it X and erased restrictions that had infuriated conservatives. He spent an estimated $250 million to boost Trump’s 2024 Republican campaign, becoming by far his biggest benefactor.

Of late, the stakes for Tesla and their car owners became much higher and more dangerous. A website called Dogequest has reportedly published the personal details of Tesla owners.

Tesla owners confirmed this week that an online map decorated with an image of a molotov cocktail includes accurate personal information about them, such as residential addresses.

The online map went live this past Monday, displaying the names, addresses and contact information of some Tesla owners and dealerships and members of the Trump administration in an attempt to whip up further backlash against Musk for his role in the Trump administration.

We tried to get onto dogequest but couldn't find it so we are guessing it is on the dark web.

This is not pretty and if we drove a Tesla, well, let's just say we would leave it in the garage until this blows over.

Blanche, did you ever wonder why gay people need lavish parades all over the country, for weeks on end, in order to celebrate their intimate interests? We never figured it out. Nobody cares what you do in the privacy of your home.

However, over the years, especially during the Obama administration, the uber woke left made it very clear that anyone who dared say a word about those extroverted extravaganzas was called out as mean, nasty, anti-gay. We were just supposed to accept it, as a kind of quasi-religious ritual. And indeed, many people did accept it.

Alas, the pride parade, like BLM and the women's march are all biting the dust.

BLM has been disbanded and the women's march this year in Washington was a bust.

It appears that people now gearing up for the most muted, small-scale pride month that we’ve seen in a very long time. As always, follow the money.

The organizers of some of the largest “pride parades” in the country are currently scrambling to raise money because their major corporate sponsors have stopped writing checks.

That includes sponsors who have been involved with the seed of those parades - the San Francisco “pride” events going back more than a decade.

It appears that the very indignant pride parade organizers who would never take money from big corporations, are now singing a different tune. As the money dries up so do their beliefs.

We are not sorry this 'parade' might actually be coming to an end. Nobody cares what anybody else does in their private life. What exactly gave gay people the right to take to the streets in the manner they do?

You want to be gay, it's a free world. Be who you want to be. But just as straight people don't flaunt their choices in the streets, neither should anyone else. It's nobody's business.

Carney had another d0-you-know-who-I-am meltdown with reporters today. A reporter asked a question and then followed up. Carney dressed him down in a really disgusting tone of voice.

The reporter: "I'll take that as a no to the question."

Carney: "No, you'll take that as a very comprehensive answer."

Seriously, who could vote for this entitled, arrogant - I-suggest-you-figure-out-who-I-am real-fast, very rich dude.

He truly thinks he was coronated.

Like we said, be very careful what you wish for. Just because he's the new face on the block doesn't mean he's the right person for the job. In fact, if you want to keep Canada tied up with endless climate change taxes, given to you in sneaky ways, he's your guy.

Don't vote for them. Don't be fooled. And Housefather is the same as all of them as anyone who has watched the protests going on in Canada. All talk and zero action.

G-d may run the show but right now, He has to help us out in a very tangible, physical way.

Good Shabbos

We'll talk...
