We often order online - everything from pizza to potato peelers. Most sites tell you that you are going to get a security code, which comes in 10 seconds. We then copy and paste it into the little box and bob's your uncle, our order is complete.
It appears the geniuses who call themselves bureaucrats in Quebec have never seen this.
When you go to the SAAQ - which is the site to renew your license or register a new vehicle or report an accident - that code is sent to you by mail. Snail mail. Which means you have to wait between 7-10 days for your code to arrive before you can complete your forms online.
Then we read this under renewing your drivers license:
You must have on hand your 16-digit payment notice number, which appears in Part 1 of your payment notice.
Please note that some financial institutions do not provide enough space for 16 digits. In such a case, simply enter the first 15 digits.
What? We have never, ever seen this anywhere. In fact, if you are missing a digit, you are shut out of whatever you are trying to do.
Quebec tried to do this website using quebec brains. Ooops. Seems those who created this site are not one but two fries short of a happy meal. Or two screws short of a toolbox. Or two flakes short of a box of corn flakes.
The kicker? These same geniuses are now spending another $600,000 to 'upgrade' the system. Your tax dollars going directly into the terlit.
Then there's the health care system here.
To be fair, it's bad all over Canada, but here it's particularly nasty because gnat-brained bureaucrats are pretending that french is a dying language and are going after our doctors, nurses and hospitals to make sure they all speak french no matter what.
Yes peeps, it's the doctors and nurses who are causing the decline of the french language here.
Never mind that we have - by a very long shot - the most doctors in Canada either leaving the province or leaving medicare and going private. Legault and his morons are doing a great job of chasing people who actually contribute to society out of this province.
Here's a headline for those geniuses: quebec is located in North America where the first language is English. The common language in the tech industry is English. The common language in the finance industry and many other industries is English. Get the drift?

In case you didn't know, a week after October 7 she called for a ceasefire. Israel had barely started to fight. She immediately began accusing Israel of genocide. She is just gross.
And, she's a poor loser on top of everything as in her goodbye speech she warned pro-Israelis to 'be afraid of me'. "Aipac, I’m coming to tear your kingdom down.” Oh really?

Unfortunately for them, they may be stuck on the International Space Station until next year if their Boeing Starliner cannot be repaired for them to return home. What?
Boeing said in July that after 'rigorous' ground tests, engineers pinpointed issues within the Starliner, including the abrupt malfunction of thrusters and helium leaks.
One minute. Isn't a spaceship supposed to be tested before it goes into space? Boeing only found out about these issues when they tried to come home?

In the first week of 2024, a Boeing 737 Max 9 passenger jet lost a rear door plug in midflight. Imagine being on that flight? The huge door plug dropped into the backyard of someone living in Portland Oregon. Imagine that?
In January of 2024, Alaska Airlines and United Airlines, both of which fly Boeing jets with the door-plug configuration, said they found loose parts on their grounded 737 Max 9 jets.
We will remind you of their other problems a few years ago: two deadly crashes of 737 Max 8 jets in 2018 and 2019, and a host of problems with its 787 Dreamliner a decade ago.
We are not afraid to fly, but at this point, would check out which plane our airline is choosing to use.
