On January 26, 2017 Bill 20 is coming into effect. Life as you know it in the medical system is about to get much worse.
Bill 20 is Quebec’s Health Minister Gaétan Barrette pet – an end to auxiliary fees patients pay at the doctor’s office. So what does that mean for you?
Most services that were performed in a doctors office will now come to an end. Here are some examples:
You want a wart removed? The cost of the medication to do so is $20. The doctor is no longer allowed to charge that. So…off you go to the CLSC or the hospital.
You need eye drops? Forget get. Go to the CLSC or the hospital.
You want a private colonoscopy? Except for Rockland MD, most private clinics closing. You will now wait, oh, maybe five years for this test which is what helps prevent colon cancer.
Maybe this will make you feel better: Barrette gave the public sector $21 million to help make up the loss of these services. What Blanche, you don’t feel better?
Barrette seems to take much joy in making the lives of regular Quebecers more miserable every day. We cannot figure out why people are not marching in the streets.
On Friday morning, hours before leaving the White House, Obama did a very sneaky thing: He sent $221 million to the Palestinian Authority. We hope you are not surprised.
The money is earmarked for the following: humanitarian aid in the West Bank and Gaza — for the Palestinian Authority; to support political and security reforms as well as help prepare for good governance and the rule of law in a future Palestinian state.
None of the above will ever happen and the money will go to the same place as all the monies given to Arafat went – into their bank accounts somewhere in Europe.
Obama is a lowlife. A wolf in sheep’s clothing.
We watched the inauguration on Friday. Michelle forgot the word grace was in her vocabulary.
On Saturday Trump’s handlers dropped the ball and allowed the mother-of-all ranting press conferences – the first of his administration to take place, no doubt at the insistence of Trump.
If Trump’s handlers allow one more press conference like the one witnessed worldwide on Saturday, he will quickly become not only the laughing stock of the world, but will be an impotent president. Either change the advisors or get a very tight leash for Trump.
One of the women who organized that women’s march on Saturday is the Palestinian-American, hijab-wearing activist Linda Sarsour. We highly doubt that very many women knew this.
Sarsour is an outspoken critic of Israel and avidly supports the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions (BDS) movement. In case you didn’t get the point yet – that she opposes Israel’s existence, here’s a tweet from her: “nothing is creepier than Zionism.”
Millions of women marched. Except. If you were pro-life you were not allowed to be there. Or if you did not agree with the left, democrat view – not invited. And the purpose of said marches? There was no real theme except that these liberals are still mightily ticked off that Hillary lost. They don’t like Trump. Here’s a headline: They best get used to his face cause he’s gonna be in theirs for four years.
What we also cannot fathom is why movie stars are touted as leaders, brought up to speak as though they have something very important to say. Who are they? People who can memorize lines and pretend to be someone else? That makes them leaders? NO. It does not.
Madonna is a perfect case in point. She should have been arrested by the FBI for threatening to blow up the White House in front of millions of people. We have no doubt that had she been a muslim woman wearing a hijab she would have not seen the end of the stage before she was carted away.
Saturday’s women’s march was one gigantic group therapy session. We hope they all feel better now.
Kellyanne Conway, who has bigger kahoonas than any man we ever met is arguably Trump’s most recognizable aide. Unfortunately for her, she is now receiving threats against her life. She has been assigned a Secret Service detail. People are insane there.
